OptimizePress Review and Walkthrough [VIDEO]

OptimizePressleadcapturepageAfter my last post about how to choose a lead capture page creator, I got a lot of requests to review OptimizePress Version 2.

So here is it – my OptimizePress Review and walkthrough.

This is just the first in a series, where I’ll be doing a video review of some of my favorite lead capture page creators.

Just as a side note… In order to do reviews like these, I have to own all of the software myself.

That means you so can rest assured I’ll never recommend anything I don’t own and use.

Optimize Press Review: Watch the Video

In this video I breakdown what’s included in OptimizePress, walk through the installation and creation of a lead capture page (the one pictured on this page), and cover the pros and cons of the software.

OptimizePress Pros:

  • Beautiful lead capture pages in minutes
  • Completely customizable
  • Mobile ready
  • Runs on existing WordPress installation
  • Tons of additional features (membership sites etc.)
  • Great support/reputation
  • One-time cost of $200 (includes 1 year of support and upgrades)

OptimizePress Cons:

  • Must have a self-hosted WordPress site
  • Can conflict with other WordPress plugins
  • Need to write your own headlines etc.
  • Moderate learning curve
  • No monthly payment option

*Just a side note about the cost: Almost all of the best lead capture page creators are around the same cost – $37/month (when a monthly payment is available) or $200/year (where a yearly payment is available). You’ll essentially be paying the same price no matter which one you choose, so cost shouldn’t be a huge factor in your decision-making process.

Overall

OptimizePress is a feature rich software, that allow you to create beautiful, mobile-ready lead capture pages in just a few minutes. If you are already running a WordPress site, this will add a ton of functionality to your existing sites, and I highly recommend you get it.

If you do not currently use WordPress, or are just getting started, you may want to look at a stand-alone lead capture page creator like LeadPages.

I hope you found this OptimizePress review helpful… if you did, make sure to leave me a comment!

Next up… I’ll be reviewing LeadPages… Stay tuned!
